  • Grand Opening Day: Springfield, Illinois and Online

    At the Illinois State Library

A Virtual Grand Opening was held on OPAL. Anne Craig, Director of the State Library, Debra Aggertt, Statewide Virtual Reference Coordinator, and Suzanne Schriar, Illinet OCLC Network Director, provided a press conference and overview sessions of the new service online for librarians throughout the state.

At Bradley University, Olympic figure skater Matt Savoie asked the first question of the service.
