| Illinois has negotiated an excellent price for OCLC QP 24/7 services for the entire state. | |||||||||
| This is a three year project with costs for each participant. | |||||||||
| Illinois has two queue's in place - 1 public and 1 academic. (schools would be considered under the | |||||||||
| public queue). Paying a fee based on your population/student enrollment or FTE will allow | |||||||||
| your library to participate in the statewide program including access to one of the standard queues. | |||||||||
| The ISL will provide scheduling and administration duties for the two above queues. | |||||||||
| The success of this project relies on the involvement of each participant. Participating libraries | |||||||||
| may choose from some of the following options to fulfill their staffing requirements: | |||||||||
| live chat, email responses, subject experts, quality control, serving on VR sub-committees and | |||||||||
| other VR needs. | |||||||||
| Clarification: A queue may be purchased by an individual library, system, groups or special libraries | |||||||||
| in addition to the individual library fee to provide a more customized service to those library patrons. | |||||||||
| A separate queue means that patron's questions will be routed locally to their own library | |||||||||
| consortium. Each queue will have an adminstrator for scheduling and administration duties. | |||||||||
| Queue | $1,000 | negotiable | |||||||
